Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah sistem presensi berbasis Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) yang terintegrasi dengan website monitoring pada PT. Galangan Kapal Lancar. Sistem ini diharapkan mampu memberikan solusi terhadap berbagai permasalahan kehadiran karyawan, seperti titip absen, pemalsuan identitas, dan akses ilegal ke lingkungan kerja. Dengan implementasi RFID, perusahaan dapat memantau kehadiran karyawan secara real-time dan transparan, meningkatkan efisiensi serta memperkuat sistem keamanan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi studi pustaka, studi lapangan, wawancara dengan pihak terkait, serta pengamatan langsung terhadap proses presensi yang berjalan di lapangan. Untuk mendukung pengembangan sistem, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan metode prototyping yang memungkinkan proses perancangan, pengujian, dan penyempurnaan sistem dilakukan secara iteratif. Perangkat yang dibangun terdiri dari modul RFID sebagai alat identifikasi dan pencatatan, serta website monitoring untuk pengelolaan data kehadiran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem presensi RFID yang dikembangkan mampu mencatat aktivitas presensi karyawan secara otomatis dan akurat, mulai dari jam masuk, istirahat, kembali bekerja, hingga jam pulang dan lembur. Data yang terkumpul disimpan dalam sistem dan dapat diakses oleh pihak manajemen melalui website secara langsung. Implementasi sistem ini terbukti membantu perusahaan dalam mengelola kehadiran karyawan secara lebih efektif, mengurangi risiko kesalahan pencatatan, serta mempercepat proses pelaporan data kehadiran. Secara keseluruhan, sistem ini mendukung upaya digitalisasi manajemen sumber daya manusia di perusahaan dengan menghadirkan solusi yang modern, aman, dan terpercaya. Dan dari hasil data kuesioner yang telah dilakukan maka telah diperoleh presentase nilai sebesar 93,3% yang termasuk kedalam kriteria sangat baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa website monitoring presensi pada PT. Galangan Kapal Lancar sudah dapat digunakan. ============================================================ This study aims to develop an employee attendance system based on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) integrated with a website monitoring platform at PT. Galangan Kapal Lancar. The system is expected to address several attendance-related issues, such as proxy attendance, identity fraud, and unauthorized access to the workplace. By implementing RFID technology, the company can monitor employee attendance in real time, enhance operational transparency, and improve workplace security. The research methodology includes literature review, field study, interviews with relevant personnel, and direct observation of the existing attendance process. To support system development, the prototyping method was employed, allowing iterative design, testing, and refinement. The system consists of an RFID module for identification and logging, as well as a website interface for attendance data management and monitoring. The results show that the developed RFID-based attendance system can accurately and automatically record various attendance events, including check-in, break time, return from break, check-out, and overtime. All data are securely stored and accessible in real time through the web-based monitoring system. The implementation of this system significantly enhances operational efficiency, reduces the risk of human error, and accelerates the reporting process of attendance data. Overall, the system supports the digital transformation of human resource management within the company by offering a modern, secure, and reliable solution. Based on the questionnaire results, a satisfaction score of 93.3% was achieved, which falls under the “very good” category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the website-based attendance monitoring system at PT. Galangan Kapal Lancar is ready for implementation.
