Abstract

ABSTRAK Ahcmad Prayudha, 2024, Analisis Perbandingan Kinerja Dynamic Routing EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) dan OSPF(Open Shortest Path First) (Studi Kasus : STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma). Kata Kunci: Cisco Packet Tracer,Routing, EIGRP, OSPF Cisco Packet tracer ialah perangkat lunak simulator jaringan yang diluncurkan oleh Cisco System yang difungsikan sebagai media pembelajaran, pelatihan, dan juga penelitian simulasi jaringan kompter. Routing adalah satuan protokol yang digunakan untuk mendapatkan rute dari suatu jaringan ke jaringan yang lain. OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) merupakan sebuah routing protokol berjenis IGRP (Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) yang hanya dapat bekerja dalam jaringan internal suatu ogranisasi atau perusahaan. EIGRP adalah protokol yang termasuk dalam Interior Gateway Protocol yang menggunakan Autonomous System. Pada jaringan WAN yang besar seperti internet sering terjadi jaringan dibagi menjadi jaringan-jaringan kecil yang disebut autonomous system, setiap autonomous system mengatur daerahnya sendiri. Penelitian ini dilakukan di STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan studi literatur dimana penulis melakukan pengamatan, mengajukan pertanyaan seputar jaringan dan mencari informasi melalui jurnal yang berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Berdasarkan penelitian dan hasil pengujian yang dilakukan pada kedua router EIGRP dan OSPF menngunakan Cisco Packet Tracer didapatkan hasil bahwa router EIGRP mengalami pengirirm paket yang lebih cepat dibandikan dengan router OSPF seperti terlihat pada tabel-tabel hasil pengiriman paket (400bit, 800bit, dan 1200bit). ============================================================ ABSTRACT Ahcmad Prayudha, 2024, Comparative Analysis of the Performance of Dynamic Routing EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) (Studi Kasus : STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma). Keywords: Cisco Packet Tracer,Routing, EIGRP, OSPF Cisco Packet tracer is a network simulator software launched by Cisco System that functions as a medium for learning, training, and also researching computer network simulations. Routing is a unit of protocol used to get a route from one network to another. OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) is a routing protocol of the IGRP (Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) type that can only work within the internal network of an organization or company. EIGRP is a protocol included in the Interior Gateway Protocol that uses an Autonomous System. In large WAN networks such as the internet, the network is often divided into small networks called autonomous systems, each autonomous system regulates its own area. This research was conducted at STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma, The data collection methods used were observation, interviews and literature studies. Where the author makes observations, asks questions about the network and seeks information through journals related to this research. Based on the research and test results conducted on both EIGRP and OSPF routers using Cisco Packet Tracer, the results are obtained that EIGRP routers experience faster packet senders compared to OSPF routers as seen in the table of packet delivery results (400bit, 800bit, and 1200bit).
