Abstract
Asrama putri 2 berdiri pada tahun 2008, didirikan oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Kutai Barat, Asrama ini didirikan sebagai salah satu Asrama tempat tinggal mahasiswa dan pelajar yang menempuh pendidikan disamarinda proses seleksi calon penghuni yang masih dilakukan secara manual yang mengharuskan calon penghuni untuk datang langsung ke Asrama sementara jarak antara Kutai Barat Dan Samarinda sangat jauh, maka dibutuhkan Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Seleksi Calon Penghuni Baru yang dapat dilakukan secara online. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu Calon Penghuni Dalam Proses Seleksi Calon Penghuni Dapat Melakukan Seleksi Secara online tanpa harus datang langsung ke Asrama. Selain itu, Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Seleksi Calon Penghuni Baru ini dapat meringankan pekerjaan pengurus Asrama yang selama ini masih dilakukan secara manual sehingga proses seleksi menjadi lebih cepat. Pengembangan system ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan meode system development life cycle, metode pengujian blackbox. Bahasa pemrograman yang digunakan untuk pembuatan website ini adalah php dan mysql untuk database. Dengan adanya Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Seleksi Calon Penghuni Menggunakan Metode Topsis berbentuk website diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan untuk calon penghuni dalam proses seleksi hanya dengan menggunakan mobile phone ataupun computer atau laptop melalui website. "======================================================" Putri 2 Dormitory Established in 2008, founded by The West Kutai District Government, the Dormitory was Established as one of the places for highschool students and college students who is studying in Samarinda. The selection process for New occupant candidates still done manually, which requires the New occupant candidates to come directly to the dormitory while the distance between west kutai and samarinda are very far away, then needed a support system for the selection of new occupant candidates can be done online. This system is expected to be able to help the new occupant candidates in the selection process for the new occupants candidates to make online selections without having to come directly to the dorm. Other than that, this system can ease the work of the administrators who have been done manually so the selection process can be done quickly. The development of this system is done using the system development life cycle method, a black box testing method. The programming language used for making this website is PHP and MySQL for the database. With the exsistence of the decision support system for selection of the new occupants candidates using the topsis method and a website form, it is expected to provide convenience for the new occupants candidates in selection process just by using mobile phone or computer or laptop via website.
