Abstract

Penyediaan akses internet di lingkungan kost sering dilakukan secara gratis tanpa kontrol, sehingga penggunaan bandwidth tidak merata dan sulit dikelola dari sisi administrasi maupun pendapatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengimplementasikan sistem billing hotspot berbasis voucher menggunakan TP-Link EAP110 sebagai access point dan Omada Controller (OC200) sebagai pengendali jaringan terpusat, dengan studi kasus di Kost Ayu. Peneliti mengadopsi metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui integrasi model Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) yang mencakup fase analisis, desain, simulasi prototipe, implementasi, pemantauan, serta manajemen. Komponen teknis melibatkan modem Orbit untuk akses internet, switch sebagai penghubung jaringan, OC200 sebagai kontroler awan Omada, dan EAP110 sebagai titik akses hotspot. Sistem voucher diterapkan untuk membatasi dan mengontrol akses pengguna berdasarkan durasi maupun kuota, sekaligus memudahkan pemilik kost dalam mengelola dan memonetisasi layanan internet secara mandiri melalui panel Omada Controller. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi EAP110 dan Omada Controller dengan sistem voucher menghasilkan manajemen hotspot yang lebih terstruktur, aman, dan efisien dibandingkan sistem hotspot terbuka tanpa autentikasi, serta memudahkan monitoring jumlah pengguna aktif dan pendapatan dari penjualan voucher. ============================================================ The provision of internet access in boarding house environments is often done for free without control, resulting in uneven bandwidth usage and difficulty in administrative and revenue management. This study aims to design and implement a voucher-based hotspot billing system using TP-Link EAP110 as an access point and Omada Controller (OC200) as a centralized network controller, with Kost Ayu as the research location. Researchers adopt descriptive qualitative methods through the integration of the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) model which includes phases of analysis, design, prototype simulation, implementation, monitoring, and management. The technical components involve the Orbit modem for internet access, the switch as a network link, the OC200 as an Omada cloud controller, and the EAP110 as a hotspot access point. The voucher system is applied to limit and control user access based on duration or quota, while making it easier for the boarding house owner to independently manage and monetize the internet service through the Omada Controller panel. Results show that integrating EAP110 and Omada Controller with a voucher system produces more structured, secure, and efficient hotspot management compared to an open hotspot system without authentication, and facilitates monitoring of active users and voucher sales revenue.
