Abstract
Selada merupakan salah satu jenis sayuran yang saat ini digemari masyarakat. Hidroponik menjadi salah satu opsi dalam budidaya tanaman selada dan sistem atau modelnya dapat menggunakan NFT (Nutrient Film Technique) yang banyak diaplikasikan dalam skala industri. Namun, dalam budidaya tanaman selada hidroponik diperlukan perhatian secara berkala terhadap nilai kadar nutrisi agar selada bisa dapat tumbuh dengan baik serta mendapatkan hasil panen yang melimpah. Pengecekan kadar nutrisi dalam bak nutrisi pun masih dilakukan secara manual yang memakai campur tangan manusia. Hal yang ingin diperoleh dari sistem pengendalian ini adalah membuat proses penakaran dan pembacaan nilai kadar nutrisi dapat berjalan secara otomatis tanpa perlu mengecek nilai kadar nutrisi secara berkala sehingga dapat menghemat waktu dan tenaga para petani hidroponik khususnya sayuran selada. Dalam penelitian ini metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu metode waterfall dan alat bantu pengembangan sistem dengan menggunakan flowchart dan blok diagram. ============================================================ Lettuce is one type of vegetable that is currently popular with the community. Hydroponics is an option in lettuce cultivation and the system or model that use NFT (Nutrient Film Technique), which is widely applied on an industrial scale. However, in hydroponic lettuce cultivation, periodic action is needed for the values of nutrient level so all of the plants can grow well and get a lot of harvests. Levels of nutrients in the nutrition tub is still done manually using human intervention by checking periodically. The thing that want to be achieved from this control system is to make the process of measuring and reading the value of nutrient levels can be run automatically without checking it regularly, so it will be helpful for hydroponic farmers that have tight schedule and very limited energy, especially for the lettuce farmers. In this research, the system development method used is the waterfall method and system development tools using flowcharts and block diagrams.
