Abstract

Skripsi Jurusan Teknik Informatika, Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika Dan Komputer Widya Cipta Dharma, Pembimbing Utama Asep Nurhuda, S.Kom.,M.Kom, Pembimbing Pendamping Rajiansyah., S.Kom.,M.Sc Kata kunci : kios informasi pelayanan akademik Penelitian dilakukan untuk dapat membuat sebuah sistem kios informasi pelayanan akademik berbasis android yang nantinya jika penelitian ini berhasil dapat mempermudah mahasiswa dalam mengakses informasi pelayanan akademik serta membantu STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma dalam memberikan informasi pelayanan akademik kepada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di perguruan tinggi STMIK Wiyda Cipta Dharma Samarinda. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yaitu dengan wawancara yang mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan informasi apasaja yang diberikan oleh setiap bagian pemberi pelayanan akademik. Dengan observasi, yaitu mengadakan pengamatan dengan cara berpartisipasi langsung ke STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma Samarinda. Dengan Kuesioner yang mengajukan pertanyaan dan penyataan kepada mahasiswa sebagai responden yang berkaitan dengan kendala pada media informasi kampus, media informasi yang menarik menurut pandangan pribadi, serta suasana pada penempatan media informasi. Dalam penelitian ini metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan, yaitu metode User Centered Design, dengan perangkat keras pendukung yang digunakan adalah Raspberry Pi, serta perangkat lunak pendukung yang digunakan adalah Android Studio 4.0, Star UML, Autodesk Sketchbook. Adapun hasil akhir dari penelitian ini berupa sistem kios informasi berbasis android yang terdiri dari sebuah alat kios informasi, sebuah aplikasi admin, sebuah aplikasi pengguna. Alat kios informasi adalah alat yang akan diletakkan pada lokasi-lokasi tertentu di lokasi tempat penelitian. Aplikasi admin adalah aplikasi yang digunakan sebagai alat untuk menambah data informasi, mengubah, dan menghapus. Aplikasi pengguna adalah aplikasi yang dipasang dan digunakan oleh mahasiswa pada perangkat ponsel pintar pribadi sebagai media informasi yang dapat memberikan mahasiswa kemudahan dan kenyamanan dalam mengakses informasi pelayanan akademik. =================================== Restu Ardananto, 2020, design of the academic Service information kiosk at STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma based on Android. This research was conducted in the College of STMIK Wiyda Cipta Dharma Samarinda. The method of data collection used, namely with interviews that ask questions relating to the information provided by each part of the provider's academic service. With observation, that is to conduct observations by participating directly to STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma Samarinda. With questionnaires asking questions and statements to students as respondents related to the constraints on campus information media, information media that is interesting in personal view, as well as the atmosphere on the placement of information media. In this study the method of system development used, namely the method of User Centered Design, with the supporting hardware used is Raspberry Pi, as well as supporting software used is Android Studio 4.0, Star UML, Autodesk Sketchbook. The final result of this research is an Android based information kiosk system consisting of an information kiosk, an application admin, a user application. The Information Kiosk tool is a tool that will be placed on certain locations at the location of the research site. The Admin app is an application that is used as a tool to add information data, change, and delete. User applications are applications that are installed and used by students on personal smart phone devices as information media that can provide students the ease and convenience of accessing the information of academic services.
