Abstract

Penentuan peminat program studi sistem informasi pada STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma dilakukan dalam beberapa proses, mulai dari tahap pengetahuan tentang informasi STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma, kemudian mengetahui ketua program studi atau tidak, berdomisili di Samarinda atau luar samarinda. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan sebuah sistem penerapan algoritma C4.5 untuk Prediksi peminat program studi sistem informasi pada STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma sehingga dapat membantu dan memudahkan pekerjaan. Algoritma C4.5 dapat diimplementasikan dalam pembuatan aplikasi sistem penunjang keputusan prediksi peminat program studi sistem informasi. Pohon keputusan untuk memprediksikan peminat dengan variabel tujuan minat atau tidak minat dibentuk dengan algoritma C4.5. informasi yang di hasilkan berupa prediksi peminat, laporan data aturan dan laporan data peminat. Aplikasi mudah di pahami dan digunakan oleh pihak kampus. kata Kunci : Sistem Prediksi Peminat Program Studi ============================================================ Determination of enthusiasts for the information system study program at STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma is carried out in several processes, starting from the stage of knowledge about STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma's information, then knowing whether the head of the study program is domiciled in Samarinda or outside Samarinda. This study aims to produce a system for implementing the C4.5 algorithm for the prediction of information systems study program enthusiasts at STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma so that it can help and facilitate work. The C4.5 algorithm can be implemented in making predictive decision support system applications for information systems study program enthusiasts. The decision tree to predict enthusiasts with the interest or uninterested objective variables was formed using the C4.5 algorithm. The information generated is in the form of prediction of interested people, data reports on rules and data reports of interested people. The application is easy to understand and use by the campus.
