Abstract
mean opinion score. Kemajuan teknologi membuat kemudahan untuk penggunanya, salah satu kemajuan teknologi yang signifikan adalah jaringan internet. Dibutuhkan kinerja jaringan internet yang mumpuni untuk mendapatkan jaringan internet yang maksimal. Oleh karena itu diperlukan Quality of Service (QoS) untuk mengetahui kualitas jaringan internet. Quality of Service adalah metode pengukuran kualitas jaringan internet dalam memberikan layanan kemudian menetapkan tingkat kualitas layanan berdasarkan standarisasi Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Network (TIPHON). Parameter-parameter Quality of Service (QoS) yaitu throughput, packet loss, delay, jitter dan MOS ( Mean Opinion Score). Salah satu lembaga yang menggunakan teknologi jaringan internet yaitu pada kantor Swajasa lintas media. Hasil pengukuran Quality of Service (QoS) pada jaringan wireless local area network pada kantor Swajasa lintas media diketahui bahwa throughput 2.654 kbps (sangat bagus), packet loss 0.0% (sangat bagus), delay 4,69 (sangat bagus), jitter 4,69 ms dan dalam kategori (bagus), MOS 4,26 (baik),. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas jaringan Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) di kantor Swajasa lintas media menurut standarisasi TIPHON berada pada indeks 3,6 (bagus). ============================================================ Technological advances make it easy for users, one of the significant technological advances is the internet network. It takes a qualified internet network performance to get the maximum internet network. Therefore, Quality of Service (QoS) is needed to determine the quality of the internet network. Quality of Service is a method of measuring the quality of the internet network in providing services and then determining the level of service quality based on the Telecommunications and Internet Protocol Harmonization Over Network (TIPHON) standard. Quality of Service (QoS) parameters are throughput, packet loss, delay, jitter, and MOS. One of the institutions that uses internet network technology is Swajasa lintas media. The results of the Quality of Service (QoS) measurement on the wireless local area network of Swajasa lintas media are known that the throughput is 2,654 kbps(very good), packet loss is 0.0% (very good), delay is 4.69 (very good), jitter is 4, 69 ms in category (good) and MOS 4,26 (good). From the results of the study it can be concluded that the quality of the Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) at Swajasa lintas media according to the TIPHON standard is at an index of 3.6 (good).
