Abstract
STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma menghadapi tantangan orientasi kampus bagi mahasiswa baru karena keterbatasan media promosi statis seperti brosur dan foto. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan prototipe peta virtual 3D yang interaktif dan imersif menggunakan platform Roblox Studio. Metodologi pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) yang terdiri dari enam tahap: Konsep, Perancangan, Pengumpulan Bahan, Pembuatan, Pengujian, dan Distribusi. Hasil penelitian berupa lingkungan digital 3D yang mereplikasi fisik kampus dengan akurasi spasial, memungkinkan navigasi bebas, serta interaksi fungsional melalui Lua Scripting untuk penyampaian informasi titik penting (POI). Selain itu, integrasi fitur Live Chat dan Voice Chat secara signifikan meningkatkan pengalaman sosial pengguna di dalam kampus virtual. Pengujian menggunakan metode Black Box mengonfirmasi bahwa seluruh fitur navigasi, kualitas visual arsitektur, dan fitur komunikasi sosial berfungsi dengan berhasil. Produk akhir dipublikasikan melalui platform Roblox guna menjamin kemudahan akses lintas perangkat bagi pengguna sebagai media navigasi dan simulasi virtual tour yang informatif. ============================================================ STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma faces campus orientation challenges for new students due to the limitations of static promotion media such as brochures and photos. This study aims to design and implement an interactive and immersive 3D virtual map prototype using the Roblox Studio platform. The system development methodology used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages: Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. The research results in a 3D digital environment that replicates the campus physical environment with spatial accuracy, allowing free navigation and functional interaction via Lua Scripting for providing Point of Interest (POI) information. Furthermore, the integration of Live Chat and Voice Chat features significantly enhances the user's social experience within the virtual campus. Testing using the Black Box method confirms that all navigation features, architectural visual quality, and social communication features function successfully. The final product is published via the Roblox platform to ensure ease of cross-device access for users as an informative navigation and virtual tour simulation medium.
