Abstract
Saat ini mahasiswa putus kuliah merupakan masalah yang di alami oleh Pergururan Tinggi di berbagai wilayah di indonesia termasuk STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sistem yang bisa membantu dalam mengurangi kemungkinan mahasiswa putus kuliah. Maka dilakukan lah penelitan terhadap faktor yang menyebabkan mahasiswa putus kuliah, khususnya pada prodi Teknik Infomatika di STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma. Dari Penelitian Tersebut Bagaimana mengidentifikasi dini mahasiswa putus kuliah di stimik wicida, data yang dijadikan variabel adalah data mahasiswa dari alumni STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma, hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan akan membantu untuk mengurangi kemungkinan mahasiswa putus kuliah khususnya di Prodi Teknin Informatika STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma. Sistem yang dibangun adalah sistem pakar yang mengunakan dempster shafer untuk melakukan perhitungang dalama sistem yang dibuat. =========================================================== Currently, students dropping out of college is a problem experienced by tertiary institutions in various regions in Indonesia, including STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma, therefore a system is needed that can help reduce the possibility of students dropping out of college. So research was carried out on the factors that cause students to drop out of college, especially in the Infomatics Engineering study program at STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma. From this research, how early identification of students dropping out of college at STMIK Wicida, the data used as variables is student data from alumni of STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma, the results of this research are expected to help reduce the possibility of students dropping out of college, especially in the Informatics Engineering Study Program at STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma. The system built is an expert system that uses Dempster Shafer to carry out calculations in the system created.
