Abstract

Mohamad Erlisa Fitri Perdana, 2024, Rancang Bangun Sistem Pendeteksi Kebocoran Gas LPG Berbasis Arduino Uno, Skripsi jurusan Teknik Informatika, Sekolah Tinggi Manajamen Informatika dan Komputer Widya Cipta Dharma, Pembimbing (I) Kusno Harianto, S.Kom., M.Kom, Pembimbing (II) Yulindawati, SH., M.Kom. Kata kunci : Pendekteksi Kebocoran Gas, Berbasis Arduino Kebocoran gas Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) adalah masalah yang mendesak dalam konteks keselamatan rumah tangga dan industri. Gas LPG, meskipun menjadi salah satu bahan bakar yang paling umum digunakan di seluruh dunia, memiliki potensi untuk menyebabkan kebakaran atau ledakan yang mengancam nyawa dan properti jika tidak ditangani dengan benar. Penggunaan platform Arduino uno dalam merancang sistem pendeteksi kebocoran gas LPG muncul sebagai alternatif yang menarik. Arduino uno, sebagai platform mikrokontroler open source yang populer, menawarkan kemungkinan untuk mengembangkan solusi yang responsif, dapat diprogram, dan terjangkau, arduino uno memberikan dasar yang solid untuk pengembangan sistem pendeteksi yang handal dan terbarukan. Dalam penelitian ini penting untuk memastikan bahwa sistem yang dikembangkan juga mempertimbangkan aspek keamanan agar tidak menimbulkan resiko baru yang tidak diinginkan pada kemudian hari. Penelitian tentang rancang bangun sistem pendeteksi kebocoran gas LPG berbasis Arduino menjadi sangat relevan. Solusi yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam meningkatkan keselamatan penggunaan gas LPG di rumah tangga dan industri. ============================================================ ABSTRACT Mohamad Erlisa Fitri Perdana, 2024, Design and Development of an LPG Gas Leak Detection System Based on Arduino Uno, Undergraduate Thesis, Department of Informatics Engineering, Widya Cipta Dharma School of Management Informatics and Computer Science, Advisors (I) Kusno Harianto, S.Kom., M.Kom., Advisor (II) Yulindawati, SH., M.Kom. Keywords: Gas Leak Detection, Arduino-Based Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) gas leaks are an urgent problem in the context of household and industrial safety. LPG gas, despite being one of the most commonly used fuels worldwide, has the potential to cause fires or explosions that threaten life and property if not handled properly. The use of the Arduino Uno platform in designing an LPG gas leak detection system appears as an attractive alternative. Arduino Uno, as a popular open-source microcontroller platform, offers the possibility to develop responsive, programmable, and affordable solutions. Arduino Uno provides a solid basis for the development of reliable and renewable detection systems. In this research, it is important to ensure that the developed system also considers safety aspects to avoid creating new unwanted risks in the future. Research on the design and development of an Arduino-based LPG gas leak detection system is highly relevant. The solution resulting from this research is expected to contribute significantly to improving the safety of LPG gas usage in households and industries.
