Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi digital di era modern ini sudah menjadi keharusan bagi sebuah perusahaan,untuk memudahkan staff dan karyawan sebuah perusahaan dalam bekerja. Work Order merupakan sebuah perintah suatu pekerjaan dalam internal suatu lembaga, departemen maupun perusahaan berupa dokumen atau lembar kertas secara tertulis kepada pelaksana aktivitas pemeliharaan atau pekerja untuk diselesaikan. Bukan hanya perintah Work Order juga dapat digunakan untuk melaporkan pekerjaan yang sudah ataupun belum selesai dikerjakan. Hotel Mercure-Ibis Samarinda sebagai salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang perhotelan, menggunakan metode manual berupa kertas dalam melakukan pelaporan perbaikan (work order) kepada engineering. Ketika ada suatu masalah atau kerusakan yang terjadi staff dan karyawan harus mencetak sebuah form dan diisi kemudian di serahkan ke departemen engineering untuk di lakukan perbaikan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat aplikasi EngiGenie yang efisien dalam membuat perintah work order dan menentukan skala prioritas pekerjaan, yang diharapkan aplikasi ini dapat memberikan kemudahan kepada staff dan karyawan hotel Mercure dan Ibis Samarinda dalam bekerja. Model Incremental Development merupakan pendekatan pengembangan sebagian-sebagian yang merupakan suatu seri versi yang memuat spesifikasi, pengembangan, dan validasi. Sistem dibangun sebagai sebuah rangkaian versi (increments) dengan setiap versi menambahkan fungsionalitas sistem bagi versi sebelumnya. Ada resiko dimana kertas atau form tersebut dapat hilang,terbuang ataupun terlupakan sehingga tidak dapat di lakukan perbaikan oleh engineering dan permasalahan atau kasusnya ditutup begitu saja. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi berbasis android ini mampu mengatasi permasalahan dan mengurangi resiko kehilangan yang terjadi serta memberikan efektivitas dan efisensi dalam melakukan work order kepada departemen engineering karena dapat mendukung proses pengajaun dan memantuan aktifitas teknisi yang lebih efisien dan tersimpan rapi sebagai arsip ketika datanya di perlukan kembali oleh perusahaan. ============================================================ The use of digital technology in this modern era has become a must for a company to facilitate the staff and employees of a company in working. Mercure-Ibis Samarinda Hotel as one of the companies engaged in hospitality, uses manual methods in the form of paper in reporting repairs (work orders) to engineering. When there is a problem or damage that occurs, staff and employees must print a form and fill it in then submit it to the engineering department to make repairs. The main objective of this research is to create an EngiGenie application that is efficient in creating work orders and determining work priority scales. It is hoped that this application can provide convenience for Mercure and Ibis Samarinda hotel staff and employees in working. The Incremental Development Model is a piecemeal development approach which is a series of versions containing specifications, development and validation. The system is built as a series of versions (increments) with each version adding system functionality to the previous version. There is a risk that the paper or form can be lost, wasted or forgotten so that engineering cannot make repairs and the problem or case is simply closed. By utilizing android-based information technology, it is able to overcome problems and reduce the risk of loss that occurs and provide effectiveness and efficiency in carrying out work orders to the engineering department because it can support the process of teaching and monitoring technician activities that are more efficient and neatly stored as an archive when the data is needed again by the company.
