Abstract

Kata Kunci : Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution, Sistem Pendukung Keputusan, Personal Computer, Toko Aringo Computer Sistem Pendukung Keputusan telah menjadi alat yang sangat penting dalam membantu pengambilan keputusan yang kompleks di berbagai bidang. Dalam era teknologi informasi saat ini, penggunaan SPK telah meluas ke berbagai sektor, termasuk dalam pemilihan perangkat teknologi seperti personal computer (PC). Penelitian ini mengenalkan "Sistem Pendukung Keputusan Pemilihan Personal Computer pada Toko Aringo Computer Menggunakan Metode TOPSIS Berbasis Web" yang bertujuan untuk memberikan solusi efektif bagi calon pembeli komputer dalam memilih opsi yang paling sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan preferensi mereka. Metode TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) dipilih sebagai pendekatan dalam penelitian ini karena kemampuannya dalam mengatasi kompleksitas dan ketidakpastian dalam pemilihan komputer. Sistem yang diusulkan dirancang sebagai aplikasi berbasis web, memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengaksesnya secara mudah dan nyaman melalui peramban web. Basis data mencakup informasi komprehensif mengenai berbagai opsi komputer yang ditawarkan oleh Toko Aringo Computer, termasuk spesifikasi teknis, tujuan penggunaan, dan harga. Proses penggunaan sistem dimulai dengan pengguna menginputkan kriteria dan preferensi mereka terkait pemilihan komputer. Sistem kemudian melakukan perangkingan terhadap opsi-opsi komputer berdasarkan skor TOPSIS, menghasilkan peringkat yang paling sesuai dengan preferensi pengguna. Selain itu, visualisasi grafis juga disajikan untuk membantu pengguna dalam memahami perbandingan antara opsi-opsi yang ada. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan panduan yang lebih baik bagi calon pembeli dalam mengambil keputusan yang terinformasi dan terukur dalam memilih personal computer. Decision Support Systems (DSS) have become a crucial tool in aiding complex decision-making processes across various domains. In the current era of information technology, the utilization of DSS has extended to various sectors, including the selection of technological devices such as personal computers (PCs). This research introduces the "Decision Support System for Personal Computer Selection at Aringo Computer Store Using TOPSIS Method with Web-Based Implementation," aiming to provide an effective solution for prospective computer buyers to choose the most suitable option according to their needs and preferences. The TOPSIS method (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) was selected as the approach for this research due to its capability to address complexity and uncertainty in computer selection. The proposed system is designed as a web-based application, enabling users to conveniently access it through a web browser. The database encompasses comprehensive information about various computer options offered by the Aringo Computer Store, including technical specifications, usage purposes, and pricing. The system usage process commences with users inputting their criteria and preferences regarding computer selection. Subsequently, the system ranks the computer options based on TOPSIS scores, yielding a ranking that aligns with user preferences. Additionally, graphical visualization is provided to aid users in comprehending the comparisons between available options. The outcomes of this research are expected to provide enhanced guidance for prospective buyers in making informed and quantifiable decisions when selecting a personal computer. Through the application of the TOPSIS method and web-based implementation, this system holds the potential to elevate the shopping and decision-making experience at the Aringo Computer Store while contributing to optimizing customer service. In summary, the proposed Decision Support System using the TOPSIS method provides a user-friendly and efficient approach for selecting the most suitable personal computer at the Aringo Computer Store. It serves as a valuable tool for prospective buyers, enabling them to make well-informed decisions based on their unique preferences and requirements.
