Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan untuk membangun Aplikasi Virtual Reality Akuarium untuk pengenalan sekaligus pembelajaran bagi anak-anak SD NEGERI 013 SUNGAI PINANG. Peneliti merancang dan membangun Aplikasi Virtual Reality Akuarium menggunakan Unity. Dalam Penelitian, metode pengembangan system yang digunakan membangun Virtual Reality Akuarium adalah Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) meliputi Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assemble, Testing, dan Distribution. Uji coba system yang dilakukan yaitu Blackbox, dan Beta Testing. Hasil dari Penelitian Implementasi Virtual Reality Untuk Visualisasi Akuarium Digital dapat dilihat dari pengujian Blackbox, dalam pengujian didapatkan hasil bahwa aplikasi telah berjalan dengan baik dan untuk menjalankan aplikasi diperlukan Smartphone, Controller, dan yang terpenting VR Box. Dapat disimpulkan berdasarkan hasil penelitian bahwa membangun Aplikasi Virtual Reality Akuarium mendapatkan hasil yang sangat baik dan memiliki potensi besar menarik minat anak-anak SD NEGERI 013 SUNGAI PINANG dalam pengenalan sekaligus pembelajaran Biota Laut. ============================================================ The research was conducted to develop a Virtual Reality Aquarium Application for recognition and learning for the students of SD NEGERI 013 SUNGAI PINANG. The researcher designed and built the Virtual Reality Aquarium Application using Unity. In the research, the system development method used to build the Virtual Reality Aquarium is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which includes Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assemble, Testing, and Distribution. The system testing conducted includes Blackbox and Beta Testing. The results of the Implementation of Virtual Reality for Digital Aquarium Visualization can be seen from the Blackbox testing, which showed that the application ran smoothly, and to operate the application, a Smartphone, Controller, and most important, a VR Box are required. In conclusion, based on the research results, building the Virtual Reality Aquarium Application gets good results and has great potential to capture the interest of the students of SD NEGERI 013 SUNGAI PINANG in the recognition and learning of marine life.
