Abstract
A B S T R A K Shadikin Pratama, 2023, Pengembangan Aplikasi E-Rapot Berbasis Website Pada SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Samarinda Menggunakan Model Waterfall. Pembimbing I : Wahyuni, S.Kom., M.Kom, Pembimbing II : Yunita, SE., MM. Kata Kunci : Waterfall , E-Rapot,Website. Pendidikan merupakan langkah penting dalam mengembangkan kepribadian dan potensi akademik generasi muda. Salah satu faktor penting dalam pengelolaan pendidikan adalah sistem pelaporan hasil belajar siswa, yang pada umumnya dibagikan melalui rapot. Pada SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Samarinda, sistem pelaporan tersebut masih mengandalkan aplikasi rapot berbasis Microsoft Excel dan tenaga manual, permasalahan yang terjadi adalah lamanya proses perekapan nilai karena guru mata pelajaran kerap kali terlambat mengirimkan nilai pada staff tata usaha(TU) yang disebabkan proses pengolahan informasi nilai dikerjakan secara bertahap mulai dari pengisian nilai pada kertas absen kemudian ke aplikasi Microsoft Excel oleh guru per-mata pelajaran, kemudian direkap oleh tiap- tiap wali kelas, serta terakhir di input ke Microsoft Excel rapot oleh staf tata usaha untuk direkap. Model waterfall adalah model pengembangan perangkat lunak yang paling umum digunakan untuk mengembangkan sistem, model pengembangan ini linier dari fase awal pengembangan sistem, fase perencanaan, hingga fase akhir pengembangan sistem, fase pemeliharaan. Tahap berikutnya tidak dilakukan sampai tahap sebelumnya selesai, dan tahap sebelumnya tidak dapat dikembalikan atau diulang. E-Rapot Untuk mempermudah para pegawai atau guru Aplikasi ini bertujuan mempermudah guru merencanakan, melaksanakan, mengolah, melaporkan dan menggunakan hasil penilaian. Website merupakan kumpulan halaman yang dihosting dalam sebuah domain yang memuat berbagai jenis informasi berupa media atau jenis berkas lainnya dengan menggunakan sebuah browser sebagai alat untuk mengaksesnya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan E-Rapot berbasis website dengan menggunakan medel Waterfall pada Sekolah Menengah Pertama Muhammadiyah 1 Samarinda dapat meningkatkan keamanan data secara signifika. Diharapkan hasil dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi institusi atau organisasi lain yang ingin meningkatkan keamanan data mereka dengan menggunakan aplikasi berbasis website. ======================================================================================================= A B S T R A C T Shadikin Pratama, 2023, Development of a Website-Based E-Rapot Application at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Samarinda Using the Waterfall Model.Supervisor I: Wahyuni, S.Kom., M.Kom, Supervisor II: Yunita, SE., MM. Keywords :Waterfall , E-Report,Website. Education is an important step in developing the personality and academic potential of the younger generation. One important factor in education management is the system for reporting student learning outcomes, which are generally distributed through report cards. At Muhammadiyah 1 Middle School in Samarinda, the reporting system still relies on a Microsoft Excel-based report card application and manual labor. The problem that occurs is the length of the grade recording process because subject teachers are often late in sending grades to administrative staff due to the processing of grade information. This is done in stages starting from filling in the grades on the roll sheet then into the Microsoft Excel application by the teacher per subject, then recapping by each homeroom teacher, and finally inputting the report into Microsoft Excel by the administration staff for recapping. Model waterfall is the most commonly used software development model for developing systems, This development model is linear from the initial phase of system development, the planning phase, to the final phase of system development, the maintenance phase. The next stage is not carried out until the previous stage is completed, and the previous stage cannot be returned or repeated. E-ReportTo make things easier for employees or teachers, this application aims to make it easier for teachers to plan, implement, process, report and use assessment results. Website is a collection of pages hosted in a domain that contains various types of information in the form of media or other types of files using a browser as a tool to access them. The results of this research indicate that the development of E-Rapot is based on website by using medel Waterfall at Muhammadiyah 1 Samarinda Middle School can significantly improve data security. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a reference for other institutions or organizations that want to improve the security of their data by using website-based applications.
