Abstract
Hand gesture recognition adalah teknologi yang dapat mengenali gerakan tangan manusia dan menginterprestasikannya menjadi sebuah perintah untuk mengontrol lampu. Dalam teknologi ini, sensor yang terpasang pada sistem akan mengambil gambar atau video gerakan tangan manusia dan kemudian diolah oleh sistem untuk diinterprestasikan menjadi sebuah perintah untuk mengontrol lampu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan sistem kontrol lampu menggunakan hand gesture recognition sebagai alternatif kontrol lampu yang praktis dan efisien. Kegiatan penelitian ini dilakukan di Laboratorium Komputer STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma yang beralamatkan di jalan M.Yamin No.25 Samarinda. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka, pengamatan langsung dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini dihasilkan sebuah alat kontrol lampu yang dapat dikendalikan dengan gerakan tangan dengan cara melakukan swipe pada sensor APDS9960 untuk menyalakan dan mematikan lampu LED yang terpasang. ============================================================ Hand gesture recognition is a technology that can recognize human hand movements and interpret them into commands to control lights. In this technology, the sensors attached to the system will take pictures or videos of human hand movements and then processed by the system to be interpreted into commands to control the lights. This study aims to implement a light control system using hand gesture recognition as a practical and efficient alternative to light control. This research activity was carried out inLaboratory Computer STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma which is located at Jalan M. Yamin No. 25 Samarinda. The data collection method used was literature study, direct observation and interviews. The results of this study produced a light control device that can be controlled by hand movements by swiping on the APDS9960 sensor to turn on and turn off the installed LED lights.
