Kata Kunci : Sistem Informasi Kasir, Informasi, Sistem, Berbasis Desktop Penelitian dilakukan untuk dapat membuat Sistem Informasi Kasir Pada Salon Alvan Banjarmasin Berbasis Desktop yang nantinya penelitian ini dapat membantu sistem pencatatan trransaksi yang terjadi dalam salon Alvan. Penelitiann ini dilakukan di Salon Alvan Banjarmasin. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara dengan mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan yang ada di salon. Dengan cara observasi untuk mengamati kegiatan di Salon. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan sistem waterfall. This research was conducted at Salon Alvan Banjarmasin. The data collection method used is interviews by asking questions related to the problems that exist in the salon. By means of observation to observe activities in the Salon. In this study using the waterfall system development method. The results of this study in the form of a Desktop-based Cashier Information System can make it easier to manage the transaction process at the salon.
