Abstract
Role Playing Game (RPG) adalah permainan video yang memiliki unsur cerita yang kompleks dan seni peran yang membuat seseorang merasa seperti menjadi seorang tokoh pada game tersebut. Permainan berdasarkan genre RPG berlangsung dalam satu set dunia realistis dalam waktu tertentu (misalnya, di abad pertengahan, pada saat ini atau di masa depan) atau dalam dunia imajiner yang tidak dekat dengan kenyataan. Peneliti merancang dan membangun permainan video berbasis desktop. Menggunakan Unity, Blender sebagai modelling, Photoshop sebagai Image Editor untuk membangun permainan video. Jenis Role Playing Game petualangan dengan Metode pengembangan Multimedia meliputi Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing dan Distribution. Uji coba sistem yang dilakukan yaitu dengan menggunakan Black Box dan Beta. Hasil dari Penelitian Role Playing Game Astralist berbasis desktop dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan program unity 2021 sebagai program utama dan berhasil mengimplementasikan algoritma A* pada kecerdasan buatan dalam game. ============================================================ Role Playing Game (RPG) is a video game that has elements of a complex story and role-playing art that makes one feel like a character in the game. Games based on the RPG genre take place in a set of realistic worlds in a given time (for example, in the Middle Ages, in the present or in the future) or in an imaginary world that is not close to reality. Researchers design and build a desktop-based video game. Using Unity, Blender as modeling, Photoshop as Image Editor to build video games. Types of Adventure Role Playing Games with Multimedia development methods include Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing and Distribution. System testing is done by using Black Box and Beta. The results of the desktop-based Astralist Role Playing Game Research can be completed by using the unity 2021 program as the main program and has successfully implementing the A* algorithm on artificial intelligence into the game.
