Abstract

Fardiwiyono, 2022, Analisis Dan Perancangan Jaringan Berbasis Inter Virtual Local Area Network Di STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma. Skripsi Teknik Informatika, Sekolah Tinggi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer Widya Cipta Dharma Samarinda, Pembimbing Utama : Pitrasacha Adytia, S.T., M.T., Pembimbing Pendamping :Pajar Pahruddin, S.Kom., M.H. Kata Kunci : Broadcast Domain, VLAN, Inter-VLAN, Jaringan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk Analisis dan Perancangan Jaringan Berbasis Inter Virtual Local Area Network di STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma. Banyaknya user yang terhubung ke sistem jaringan kampus STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma membuat sistem jaringan LAN (Local Area Network) yang sudah diterapkan sejak lama tidak dapat memenuhi kebutuhan user nya, terlebih lagi besarnya Broadcast Domain yang terdapat pada sistem LAN STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma mambuat para user saling menyebarkan, hal ini menyebabkan bandwith terbuang sia-sia dan hal ini menyebabkan peforma jaringan menurun. Sistem keamanan yang rentan disebabkan oleh banyaknya host yang terhubung dalam satu segmen jaringan yang sama, hal ini membuat setiap host dapat mendeteksi keberadaan host lainnya. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, maka perlunya model sistem jaringan Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN). Dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan perancangan dan implementasi secara langsung VLAN dan Inter-VLANpada Router MikroTik dan switch Cisco. ============================================================ Fardiwiyono, 2022, Analysis and Design of Networks Based on Inter Virtual Local Area Networks at STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma. This research was conducted for Network Design and Analysis Based on Inter Virtual Local Area Network at STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma.The number of users connected to the STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma campus Network system makes the LAN (Local Area Network) Network system that has been implemented for a long time unable to meet the needs of its users, moreover the large Broadcast Domain contained in the STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma LAN system makes users Broadcasting each other from one user to another, this causes bandwidth to be wasted and this causes decreased Network performance such as frequent dropped connections and unstable connections. The security system is vulnerable due to the large number of hosts connected to the same Networksegment, this allows each host to detect the presence of other hosts. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to model a Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) Network system. In this research, the Design and Implementation of VLAN and Inter-VLAN directly on MikroTik Routers and Cisco switches will be carried out.
