Abstract

Pada saat ini di kota Samarinda semakin banyak dibangun tempat kos, hal ini disebabkan karena banyaknya perantau yang berdatangan ke kota Samarinda. Lokasi dari tempat kos itu sendiri biasanya di daerah-daerah yang dekat dengan kampus atau perkantoran. Seperti di daerah dekat kampus STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma Samarinda, di daerah tersebut banyak sekali dibangun tempat-tempat kos yang di sewakan untuk para perantau. Penelitian ini di lakukan terhadap Kos Awang Faroek Institute yang ada di kota Samarinda. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara yang mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan informasi yang diperlukan oleh calon penghuni kos dan digunakan untuk pembuatan sistem nantinya. Dengan cara Observasi, yaitu mengadakan pengamatan secara langsung ke Kos Awang Faroek Institute di kota Samarinda. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode waterfall. Metode ini merupakan metode pengembangan yang menggambarkan pendekatan secara sistematis dan juga berurutan (step by step) pada sebuah pengembangan perangkat lunak. Adapun Hasil Akhir dari penelitian ini yakni berupa manfaat akan adanya Sistem Informasi berbasis web pada Kos Awang Faroek Institute yang dapat memudahkan calon penghuni maupun masyarakat lain dalam melakukan pencarian dan transaksi penyewaan kamar pada Kos Awang Faroek Institute berbasis web. ==================================================================== Najmiatul Magfira, 16.41.133, 2022, Room Rental Information System at Awang Faroek Institute Boarding House Based on Web, thesis of Information Systems. This research was conducted on the Awang Faroek Institute boarding house in the city of Samarinda. The data collection method used is interviews that ask questions related to the information needed by prospective boarding house occupants and used for making the system later. By means of observation, namely making direct observations to the Awang Faroek Institute boarding house in the city of Samarinda. The development method used by the author is the waterfall method. This method is a development method that describes the approach systematically and also sequentially (step by step) in a software development. The final result of this research is the benefit of the existence of a web-based information system at the Awang Faroek Institute boarding house which can facilitate prospective residents and other communities in searching and transacting room rentals at the Awang Faroek Institute boarding house web-based.
