Abstract
Arsip mempunyai peranan penting bagi kelancaran kegiatan organisasi sebagai sumber informasi dan pusat ingatan. Namun, pada kenyataannya rendahnya apresiasi terhadap arsip menjadi masalah sehingga arsip tidak dikelola dengan baik. Tujuan dari pengamatan ini untuk mengetahui tata kearsipan di Dinas Komunikasi Dan Informatika Provinsi Kalimantan Timur. Tata kearsipan meliputi tahap penerimaan dan pencatatan arsip, penyimpanan arsip, pemeliharaan arsip, penemuan arsip kembali, penyusutan dan pemusnahan arsip. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi dan metode pengembangan sistem menggunakan waterfall. Dengan metode ini memungkinkan untuk depertementalisasi dan Kontrol. Proses pengembangan model fase one by one, sehingga meminimalis kesalahan yang mungkin akan terjadi. Dengan adanya Sistem Pengarsipan Berkas Pada Dinas Komunikasi Dan Informatika Provinsi Kalimantan Timur dapat menangani proses perkembangan teknologi serba digital. Pada hasil testing dapat di simpulkan bahwa hasil pengujian pertanyaan kuisioner kepada 10 (sepuluh) responden dapat ditarik kesimpulan lebih dari 94% responden menjawab bahwa Pengarsipan Berkas Berbasis Web pada Sistem Pengarsipan Berkas Pada Dinas Komunikasi Dan Informatika Provinsi Kalimantan Timur memenuhi kriteria - kriteria situs website atau web aplikasi yang baik.
