Abstract

Pencak Silat merupakan nama suatu bentuk kesenian tradisional. Bentuk kesenian tradsional ini telah menjadi pemberi ciri atau identitas bagi Kebudayaan Nasional Indonesia. Pada pencak silat terkandung beraneka ragam aspek budaya yang mengikuti dinamika sosial budaya bangsa Indonesia hingga masa sekarang. Pencak Silat juga dipertandingkan pada Pekan Olahraga Daerah (PORDA) yang di dalamnya meliputi Pekan Olahraga Kabupaten/Kota (PORKAB) dan Pekan Olahraga Provinsi (PORPROV) di mana setiap organisasi atau perguruan pencak silat akan berpartisipasi pada PORKAB dan setelah lolos menjadi juara pada PORKAB, Organisasi atau perguruan silat akan lanjut untuk ikut dan berpartisipasi dalam PORPROV sebagai perwakilan dari Kabpuaten/Kota. Salah satu faktor terkendalanya pengembangan atlet pencak silat yang menjadi sorotan adalah minimnya Sumber Daya Pelatih mumpuni. Pelatih tidak menguasai berbagai macam ilmu yang diperlukan untuk menunjang prestasi. Pelatih hanya cenderung mengikuti budaya atau pengalaman sebelumnya. Padahal pelatih dituntut untuk memiliki kreativitas dalam melatih karena seorang pelatih tidak boleh puas hanya meniru cara dan langkah yang dilakukan oleh pelatih lain, atau sekedar pengalaman yang didapatnya selama menjadi pemain. Meninjau dari segala alasan tersebut, perlu dibuat sebuah sistem pendukung keputusan yang dapat digunakan oleh perguruan silat yang dapat membantu menentukan pelatih yang layak guna mencapai prestasi yang maksimal. ========================================================== Pencak Silat is the name of a traditional art form. This traditional art form has become a feature or identity for Indonesian National Culture. It contains various aspects of culture that follow the socio-cultural dynamics of the Indonesian nation to the present day. Pencak Silat is also competed at the Regional Sports Week (PORDA) which includes the Regency/City Sports Week (PORKAB) and the Provincial Sports Week (PORPROV) where every pencak silat organization or college will participate in PORKAB and after qualifying to become champions in PORKAB silat organizations or colleges will continue to participate and participate in PORPROV as representatives of the Regency/City. One of the factors constraining the development of pencak silat athletes which is in the spotlight is the lack of qualified trainers. The trainer does not master the various kinds of knowledge needed to support achievement. Trainers only tend to follow the culture or previous experience. In fact, coaches are required to have creativity in training because a coach should not be satisfied with just imitating the ways and steps taken by other coaches, or just the experience he has gained as a player. Considering all these reasons, it is necessary to create a decision support system that can be used by silat colleges that can help determine the appropriate coach in order to achieve maximum performance
