Abstract

Kost adalah salah salah satu bisnis yang cukup berkembang pesat di daerah kota Samarinda. Akan tetapi perkembangan yang pesat ini tidak diiringi dengan perkembangan teknologi terutama sistem informasi berbasis web yang ada pada kost. Hal ini membuat calon penghuni merasa bingung bagaimana dengan keadaan kost yang ada terutama kost yang berada di daerah dalam gang, dan tidak terlihat dari jalan utama, dan sehingga calon penghuni membutuhkan informasi untuk mengetahui keadaan dan keberadaan dari kost tersebut. Penelitian ini di lakukan terhadap kost Gandi yang ada di Samarinda. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara yang mengajukan pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan informasi yang diperlukan oleh calon penghuni kost dan digunakan untuk pembuatan sistem nantinya, Dengan cara Observasi, yaitu mengadakan pengamatan secara langsung ke kost Gandi di kota Samarinda. Adapun Hasil Akhir dari penelitian ini yakni berupa manfaat akan adanya Sistem Informasi berbasis web pada Kost Gandi Samarinda yang dapat memudahkan calon penghuni maupun masyarakat lain dalam melakukan pencarian dan transaksi penyewaan kamar pada kost Gandi Samarinda yang nantinya berbasis web. ========================================================= Boarding house is one of the fastest growing businesses in the city of Samarinda. However, this rapid development has not been accompanied by technological developments in the boarding house. This makes prospective residents feel confused about the condition of the boarding houses, especially those in the area in the alley, and not visible from the main road, and so that prospective residents need information to find out the condition of the boarding house and the whereabouts of the boarding house. This research was conducted on the Gandi boarding house in Samarinda. The data collection method used was interviews which asked questions related to the information needed by prospective boarding residents. By way of observation, namely making direct observations at the boarding house Gandi in Samarinda city. The final result of this research is in the form of benefits of the existence of an Information System at Kost Gandi Samarinda which can make it easier for prospective residents and other people to search and rent room transactions at boarding houses Gandi Samarinda.
