Abstract

Kom, Supervisor II: Asep Nurhuda, S. Kom., M. Kom. Keywords: Antivirus Application Creation Using CRC32 Search Method. Antivirus is one of the most important Security Tools for Computer Users. Computer viruses have a variety of basic skills such as the ability to manipulate files, the ability to multiply, and corrupt data. To block the activity of viruses that can damage the data of computer users then the software developers build a software known as Antivirus. In recognizing and removing or quarantining viruses, Antivirus uses several methods, one of which is the hasking method. In this thesis will be discussed how to use CRC32 hasking function as a method to recognize a virus to be deleted or quarantined from the user's computer. CRC32 hasking function can be used as a method to get a marker of a virus file, this is because the CRC32 method calculates the file marker based on the size and content of the file, so it is unlikely that two different files will have the same marker, since the difference of 1 bit will change the value of CRC32 file. Kom., M.Kom. Kata Kunci : Membuat Aplikasi Antivirus Dengan Menggunakan Metode Pencarian CRC32. Antivirus adalah salah satu alat Keamanan yang sangat penting bagi Pengguna Komputer. Virus komputer memiliki berbagai kemampuan dasar diantaranya adalah kemampuan memanipulasi file, kemampuan untuk memperbanyak diri, dan merusak data. Untuk menghalangi kegiatan virus yang dapat merusak data pengguna komputer maka para pengembang software membangun sebuah software yang dikenal dengan istilah Antivirus. Dalam mengenali dan menghapus maupun mengkarantina virus, Antivirus menggunakan beberapa metode, salah satunya adalah metode hasking. Pada skripsi ini akan dibahas bagaimana menggunakan fungsi hasking CRC32 sebagai metode untuk mengenali sebuah virus untuk kemudian dihapus atau dikarantina dari komputer pengguna. Fungsi hasking CRC32 dapat dijadikan sebagai metode untuk mendapatkan penanda dari sebuah file virus, hal ini dikarenakan metode CRC32 menghitung penanda file yang berdasarkan ukuran dan isi file, sehingga kecil sekali kemungkinan dua buah file yang berbeda memiliki penanda yang sama, karena perbedaan 1 bit saja akan mengubah nilai CRC32 file. Selanjutnya, penanda tersebut dijadikan acuan untuk melakukan scanning pada seluruh komputer pengguna.
