Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk merancang dan mengimplementasikan sebuah sistem informasi bimbingan tugas akhir yang sesuai dengan prosedur di STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma yang dapat memfasilitasi mahasiswa dalam melakukan bimbingan dengan dosen pembimbingnya. Mahasiswa dan dosen tidak perlu untuk melakukan tatap muka setiap kali melakukan bimbingan sehingga permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir tersebut dapat diselesaikan dengan lebih cepat. Kemudian memudahkan mahasiswa dalam melakukan pencatatan konsultasi tanpa harus membawa buku konsultasi pada saat melakukan bimbingan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi dan studi literature dalam pengumpulan data. Pengembangan sistemnya menggunakan metode waterfall. Pemodelan analisis dan desain menggunakan bahasa pemograman PHP dan database server MySQL. Metode pengujian menggunakan pengujian Black Box dan Beta Testing. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebuah sistem informasi berbasis website yang dapat memudahkan dosen dan mahasiswa dalam melakukan bimbingan tugas akhir sehingga dalam pengerjaan tugas akhir tersebut dapat lebih efektif dan efisien. ========================================================= The aim of this research is to design and implement a final guidance information system that appropriate with the procedures in STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma to facilitate students in conducting guidance with advisers. Students and lecturers do not need to do face to face everytime for guidance, so the problems faced of thesis can be resolved more quickly. Then, facilitate students to conducting consultations noted without have to bring a book consultation at the time of guidance. This study used observation method and study literature of data collection. Systems development used the waterfall method. Analysis modeling and design used PHP programming language and MySQL database server. Testing method used whitebox test. The result of this research is a web-based information system to facilitate lecturers and students of conducting thesis guidance, so the execution of thesis can be more effectively and efficiently.
