Abstract
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk dapat membuat alat yang dapat menyiram tanaman secara otomatis menggunakan arduino uno dan notifikasi pemberitahuan melalui SMS (short message service) yang nantinya jika penelitian ini berhasil diharapkan mampu memberikan kemudahan dan efisiensi waktu bagi pengguna. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Jarkom STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma Kota Samarinda, Provinsi Kalimantan Timur, metode pengumpulan data dengan studi lapangan salah satunya observasi yaitu mengadakan pengamatan langsung terhadap alat kendali yang dibuat dan studi pustaka yaitu dengan mempelajari buku-buku literatur yang berhubungan dengan alat penyiraman dan kendali secara otomatis Adapun hasil akhir dari penelitian ini yakni berupa alat penyiram tanaman otomatis menggunakan arduino dengan SMS notifikasi (peringatan) saat kondisi air pada tangki penampungan habis. "=======================================================" This research was conducted to be able to water the plants automatically using arduino uno and can be notification via SMS (Short Massage Service) which later if the research is successful is expected to provide convenience and efficiency of time for the user. This research was conducted in Laboratory Jarkom of STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma Samarinda City, East Borneo Province, data collecting methods with field study one of them is observation that held direct observation to control instrument made and literature study that is by studying literature book related to sprinklers and control automatically. As for the final result of this research that is in the form of automatic sprinklers plants using arduino uno with SMS notification (warning) when the water condition at the storage tank runs out.
